Our Eco Council is a group of enthusiastic children who care about looking after our planet and making our school as eco-friendly as possible. We meet regularly to share ideas, plan projects, and take action to help the environment.
One of our exciting responsibilities is overseeing the growing of fruit and vegetables in our school’s poly tunnel. The Eco Council along with The Roses class, helps to plant, water, and care for the crops, making sure they grow strong and healthy. We love seeing our hard work pay off when we harvest the produce – and it’s a great way to learn about where our food comes from.
As well as gardening, we also work on important projects like recycling, saving energy, reducing waste, and protecting wildlife around our school. We encourage everyone to get involved and think about how small changes can make a big difference.
Together, the Eco Council is helping to create a greener school and a brighter, more sustainable future for us all.
